*Update* as per the other reviews, Jack no longer works here and the food really has slipped since my below review. What a shame! -------------------------Was a massive fan of Jack's restaurant but visited last week for the first time in a year, and personally felt the quality of the food has slipped. Still better than most in the area, but a noticeable dip in standard!

Just to put the record straight, Jack is no longer the owner of this restaurant and he hasn't been so for 2 years on Christmas eve.He sold the business to the current owner lock, stock, and barrel. However, the current owner still gives the impression that he is working for Jack.If you have enjoyed your visit then fine, but if you have had a poor experience please don't hold it against Jack, as I said, he sold the business 2 years ago.
Great food with a wide variety on the menu and very nice ambience overall. Attentive staff always on hand to help with your order. Hot towels for your hands!
